Wednesday Wes picked up the kids and I when I got home I found Caleb in timeout and a long note from his teacher on the counter. Apparently Caleb had no interest in participating in gross motor that day and he preferred to watch the kids playing outside instead of eating his lunch. When the teachers tried to move him to a different chair, he threw a fit. We have seen these fits quite a bit lately, but this is the first time he has done it at school. Wes must have given him a pretty stern talk and he was given the ultimate punishment.... his boots and cowboy hat were taken away. They were put on the top shelf of our closet and would not come down until we received good notes home.
I am happy to report that those boots and hat came down today and so far we have had one well behaved cowboy.
