We arrived in Orlando Sunday around 2:30pm and were at our Disney resort by 3:30pm. After getting comfortable with where we would be spending the next 7 days, we decided to put our 6-day park hopper tickets to use and head to the Magic Kingdom. Our main goal was to catch the 9pm light parade and possibly ride a ride or two. I don't think any of us were prepared for the crowd... this is a 'slower' time of year for Disney, right? Ha! It was shoulder to shoulder with people down Main Street all night long, but we managed to find a decent spot for the parade and then darted right to the tea cups and Dumbo for short wait lines. The kids loved both.... so did the adults!
The walk back to the shuttle was not ideal as we were walking out with a large mass of people and we were carrying 3 exhausted children who managed to fall asleep on our shoulders. We'll just call it a magical workout!
