When we were planning the cruise, we knew we wanted get off the boat and experience an excursion in Cozumel. We narrowed down a few ideas and discussed them with the kids. There was a unanimous vote for swimming with the dolphins, so swimming with "flipper" it was. Once docked in Cozumel, we met up with our group and headed to Dolphinus, a beautiful dolphin swimming lagoon. It wasn't all rainbows and butterflies.... the water was pretty cool, the kids could barely touch on the edge where we would stand to wait to go out in the main swim area, and about half way into our swim time, a rain shower graced us with her presence. BUT, it was all worth it. We kissed, shook hands, splashed, and had belly rides with the dolphins. It was pretty darn cool. Mimi and Popo came along as spectators and were able enjoy the day with us.... and get some pics.
