Potty training, Round 2

I remember when Austin & Avery turned 2, I was gearing up for two things:
1) terrible 2's
2) potty training
Yes, because our children were so exceptional, they were going to catch onto potty training in a matter of days. I'd just follow a few guidelines found in books and on the internet and their diaper days would be over. HA HA HA..... HA! My days turned to months. They'd show signs and then show no interest, then have a few great potty days and then back to no interest. I then accepted what I truly believe.... it will happen when they are ready. Sure enough about 2 1/2 months before they turned 3, something just seemed to click and my diaper buying days for 3 children were over.... I still had to buy for Caleb.
So now, about a year and a half later, Caleb has turned 2 and potty training is back in the picture. Difference is, this time he is the one who initiated it. He started taking his diaper off outside to go in the grass like his big brother and he knows to sit on the potty when potty sitting is required. He's got a ways to go, but he has shown so much more interest than Avery & Austin and I think that's because he thinks he's 3 like they are and needs to be doing the things they do. I'm pretty proud of the little guy!
